Her professional journey has been marked by a diverse range of roles, spanning program implementation, channel management, account management, and her most recent role as a supplier diversity professional. Beyond being a career, her passion for energy efficiency serves as both her compass and catalyst for action.

Driven by her profound belief in the unifying potential of energy, Shonté embarked on a mission to bring together the most accomplished business leaders she encountered throughout her career. This endeavor culminated in the establishment of the Better Together Brain Trust; a collaborative initiative aimed at uniting the industry's brightest minds to address the pressing issue of climate change.

Shonté holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Rhode Island and as earned a variety of certifications, including Certified Supplier Diversity Professional (CSDP), Certified Diversity Professional (CDP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Business Energy Professional (BEP), and Certified Energy Auditor (CEA).
